Do you guys know if the parkerizing will protect the tang underneath the handle if you keep the knife dry and away from water etc ? I'm worried about rust eating the tang!! I wanna get a few parkerized regulators.

Parkerizing will only protect if it is oiled, so I would say no unless you can find a way to oil the tang.

That said, anything that develops under the tang would almost certainly be surface rust that shouldn't progress to the point of structural damage.

I wouldn't worry about the tang rusting. That Res C is on very tight.

Oh...I should start oiling mine!!!

Mine I bought new...... but were full of rust spots when I got it. I think under the handle its gonna be eaten by rust. So i just decided not to get another. Still love the knife.
