Yeah I didn't figure that the lower marked .223 would matter much as was said a LOT of uppers can be put on that lower receiver. I just found out about the .223 wylde the other day and they said the same thing. Basically the same thing but match cut chamber.

Nice pistol MB.

My next AR in 5.56 will be built with the wylde barrel it is said to be the bees knees.

I am really tempted to try one of these, a friend of mine got one and it is a nice barrel.

That looks very cool. I have never heard of the manufacturer though. EBAY sketches me out on gun parts. Well a lot of things.

The pistol is already taken back apart. New comp is on I need to hit the barrel with some cold blueing and get some back up irons and get the forearm re-attached.

I took it to the range and test fired it since I put a new low profile gas block on it. I am happy to say it is still a semi auto and not a single shot so I must have done it right. wink

I felt the same way MB but I have seen this guys work in person and it seems to be on par with the pro barrels I have seen. He took the chance I am reaping the benefits. Lol

That pistol should be a nice piece when you are all done.

Is it the maker selling it or a reseller? if it is a maker it would bother me less. Especially if you have had a chance to inspect prior work.

I believe it is the maker selling them but I will check with my buddy and let you know.

The issue there is they cost almost as much as the Wilson combat barrel I really want.

http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Wilson-...st-Stainless/productinfo/TR-762RC18-112/

I was trying to go budget barrel until I can afford to outfit it as a 7.62x40
