Well I bought a Kel-Tec PF9. $225.00, with tax $250.00 out the door. Now I gotta find a couple spare 8 round mags.

Rich, I forgot to tell you good luck with the Air Force interview! Hope things go well for you.

Good score Randy, I've heard good things about it. There was a side by side comparison between it and some $2K ultra compact, and the PF9 compared very favorably, only marginally larger than the semi-custom they compared it to. Keltec makes good firearms, people don't give them enough credit.

I was eyeballing an SU-16B myself, or a 16C with the sight upgrade. With the upgrades available on Keltec's website (pistol grip and M4 stock adapter) and the rail system available aftermarket for it, it turns it into a solid contender for a truck gun, for 2/3rds the price of a comparable AR, and also 2/3rds the weight. weighs about 5.6lbs with a loaded magazine, lol. Plus it'll finally put to use the 12 AR mags I snagged before our mag ban went into effect...

Thanks for the good words ECF. Man I like the looks of that bullpup 308. BUT at almost $1900.00 it's out of my league!

Just that you liked the kel-tec.

No interview with Airforce yet, just applied a few weeks ago and waiting...waiting...waiting.

I thought you were about the Kel-tec. I really like the way it feels in my hands. But boy does it have a long trigger pull. I was gonna get some one round mag extensions to go with new mags but in the long run just settled on the regular 7 rounders.

My Kel-Tec came with a pinky extension for the magazine. I put those on my XDs flush magazines and really like them. But on the Ket-Tec the end of the extension hit my finger dead center so as soon as I grabbed it I took it back off.

They make a one round extension that might not be to bad and I might get one of those to try later on. And If I like it I will put it on both my spare mags. Time will tell.

GD unless they can do an 18 in stainless in 7.62x40 for well under 270 I just can't see the advantage of them over Wilson combat who developed the round.

Greaser I meant to compare their barrels to the one on eBay. For that specialty round I would recommend the Wilson Barrel.
