Thats a great price for an XD 45.

I don't think the PSA lowers are that bad. They have a better rep than Bushmaster.

If its Mil Spec its should be GTG.

I managed to make it out to the range. I qualified on my BUG and was able to test fire and dial in my MBUS sights since I didn't have my optics in yet.

It runs like a top. Not too bad for plastic sights. 5 round groups.

PSA I'm not worried about, PTAC generally has a sketchier rep from what I understand.

I'm dislexic. The PTACs have a bad rep. You would be better off getting a $49 bushmaster and a $70 LPK and put whatever you want on it.

Or a DPMS LPK for 44 bucks and spend the rest on a buffer tube and buffer spring/buffer.

Well, perhaps on one of these long weekends I have, we can get together for some trigger time. I spoke too soon on my plans anyway. Army Finance decided they didn't want to pay me my BAH at all, so I'm getting a 900$ mid month check, which will cover my car payment, insurance, and POSSIBLY gas... it's going to be a tight three weeks...

DT, I don't think anyone could accuse CTD of price gouging on this particular item... unless it's really only worth 5$...

A buddy of mine bought one last month. Still anticipating the build, since I'll be helping him put it together. He's just got to come up with the parts to build it. It seemed pretty solid, for a poly reciever, but with anti-walk pins, I don't think it'll have any problems.

Aim Has Anderson Lowers for 39 bucks. That's hard to beat. I am enjoying the lowering prices of AR stuff. I have gotten lucky and managed to get a hold of high quality gear for cheap prices the past few months.

Now is a good time to get into AR's.

El Caca That's an interesting <Lower. I don't think you could get hurt too bad buying one of those. I don't know anything about polymer lowers though.

It seemed on closer inspection to be a pretty good deal. There are aluminum inserts in key points for strength, and plenty of lightening cuts as you can easily see, but the thing that stood out to me is the buffer tube interface is an aluminum insert, so it's metal on metal contact instead of metal on plastic. I've heard (and seen in person on another poly reciever) that trigger pins have a tendency to try and walk out on polymer recievers, since the plastic doesn't offer the same press fit as an aluminum reciever. I imagine you probably couldn't beat on most of the poly lowers too hard, but for a shooting gun, can't beat the economy.

You could always use KNS antiwalk pins.
