I think its a good looking functional camo and as we know functionality is king.

The new build looks good as well.

It was a simple. OD base and FDE as over spray. I used a pine bough to make a pattern.

It works way better than I could have hoped.

I did the same with my M14, various leaves from the yard, and a couple layers of color on top of a brown stock. It was a lot less difficult than I thought, you just have to sort of "think backwards" about the colors in the pattern, lol.

Haha, yes I do, lol

It's not a recent picture of her, but it's still representative of how it looks right now. Soon, though, when my back pay comes in, I suspect it will look more like this:

Looks Great. The M1A is on my shortlist of rifles to buy. Eventually.

It's a tack driver too. When I installed the Smith Ent Gas Lock Front sight, it tightened the entire gas system down, and my groups went from 2" to sub 1" at 100 Yards. When I pick up the Blackfeather stock for it in the second picture, I'm going to further shim the gas system and really lock it down, then it's on to unitizing the gas block or just removing the stock collar, since I won't need it anymore. With a better optic, I should be able to wring 3/4 MOA out of it with Match ammo or handloads. And it's just a standard M1A, not even a loaded of NM... it just took a loving touch and the right parts

Better jump on it soon, they're almost 2 Grand now for the standards, prices are getting really high.

Oh yeah, nice one ECF! I love seven-six-two rifles! I guess now I need to get an M1A!

Kinda thinking a little about upgrading my ar15a3 and or pulling the trigger on a DPMS .308 evil assault rifle, but I'm not really sure I want to spend close to a grand when there are so many other things we could use. Box stock from Wally world, are the DPMS rifles any good?
