So while figuring out how to log back in here for the Cupidganzaaaaa I happened by the order page and was pleasantly surprised to see the offerings in SR-101. Probably old news. Anyway this inspired me to prime the pump with a Safety Mutt for me and a couple 311's for the ladies.

I can tell this Safety Mutt is going to be my new go to outdoors blade. I really like the idea of being able to pick out the blade when you set it down while working around the camp fire etc. and the blade forward feel makes me smile. I'm digging the 311's too, nice little knife that reminds me of a down scaled Howling Rat.

Now I just need the ladies to figure out a sheath preference for the 311's and the lakes to thaw.

Great Job Yard

Nice score. What's the Safety Mutt like? It's the only one of the latest shop offerings that I don't have.

Sorry so long on this.

The Safety Mutt is the bomb! Like I said in the first post it has a nice blade forward feel. I've found myself carrying it around the house the past few days and have done some snap cutting, stick sharpening, and whittling in the back yard to get a feel for it. Whacked a pork roast up last night too. Just enough use for me to know it's getting a lot of camp time this summer. smile

The 311's went over extremely well with the ladies and they put them with their coveted Vic campers. Still need to work on the sheath part but I have until June so no worries. The girls all excited showed mom eek so I got to hear a bit on that, "You bought the girls Busse's"? My answer was not technically which got me an eye roll. Fun stuff.
