I thought I was going to trim down my collection because I had too many calibers. Since then I have added more than I got rid of. There were just some deals I didn't want to pass on.

Now I,m just try to fll certain roles a best I can. I don't think I need to add any new caliber s but I guess if I had to a good long range caliber (600+ yds) and maybe some sort of high velocity varminting caliber are the only two calibers I should even look at.

I think I'm down to 22 long, 22 lr, 380 acp, 357 mag, 44 mag, 45 acp, 5.56, .257 wby mag, 308, 300 h&h mag, 410, 20 ga, and 12 ga. I could probably get rid of the 380 and 357. Everything else I consider necessary or sentimental.

You thinking something specialized for these, or something more rounded. I tend to lean toward more rounded so I would go 7mm rem mag and 22-250. Just my personal preference.

I'm leaning towards .300wm for the 600+ capable rifle. In particular I'm wanting a CZ UHR with a composite stock that I can top with the Swarovski 2.5-15x56 scope I bought a while back. This should cover the top end of anything I could want to shoot out to way past where I could want to shoot it.

I really don't do any sort of varminting so it's just another rifle to get I guess lol... The Savage 116 caught my eye as I don't have anything stainless in my collection. But a varmint rifle is actually pretty low on the list. I would probably look at something like 22-250 or .243 if I get serious about it.

Well I got in 2 20 round mags for my CX4 Wednesday, AND a water bottle carrier I ordered from Amazon in FEBRUARY! They didn't indicate they were out when I ordered and I got all the rest of my order in a week. I contacted them and they apologized and said they would send it to me NEXT DAY at no cost to me because of their mistake once it was back in stock. THEY DID!

Well I'm getting there. CX4 "Wish List" The quest continues!

1. Side rail ------ ordered
2. Stock spacers -- ordered
3. 20 round mags -- ON HAND!
4. Ammo ----------- on hand (800 rounds of mixed)still researching actual "carry" ammo, but I think I have settled on 124gr +P.
5. Optics --------- still researching.
6. White light ---- Streamlight TLR1 HP (Not yet ordered) I don't have Tom's money! wink

Ultimately I THINK I would like a white light, the afore mentioned Streamlight and a laser on the opposite side. We will see.
