OP rgc Lap Dog Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 32	howdy all, new member here with a Regulator question. I have a new to me Hollow Regulator from blade 2014 with the parkerized finish. Was this the only Regulator made with the parkerized finish? Reason I ask is that it seems the Hollow Regulators are .300 thick vs the other Regulators are .333 thick. Kind of important difference when ordering a sheath. Thanks for any and all help. rgc

I suggest you look at the SCRAPYARD KNIFE SPECS Thread for all the "Standard" versions. Hopefully that helps you. Oh and the finish will vary a little from knife to knife because of the normally used Crinkle Coat finish. I was a member of the old swamp rat forum, way back when they just started out, though, never ended up with one. This will be my first knife with SR101.

I am looking forward to really abusing this knife, I mean, what can't a .300" thick piece of razor sharp steel not do? It will fill the space between my 3.5" blades and my Junglas rather nicely. Yeah, that was what I was thinking too. Only one maker I can find where I don't have to send him the knife. I know it is silly, but, I don't like to ship them off to have a sheath made. Good thing is is that this maker seems to specialize in Scrap Yard, Swamp Rat and Busse knives.
