Still on the fence with my impulse buy. It's well made but I think I got myself more of a target rifle than I was thinking. They claim .700 groups at 50 yards or better right out the box. So I will probably do a target scope and bipod and leave it at that. If it shoots good the well worth the $200 imho.

I think next up is a PSA 9mm AR15. They have the lowers on sale to where it would be $490 to do a complete rifle. But I'm thinking I can just get the lower and a couple mags and try to wait out a sale price on the uppers.

Will probably sleep on it...

.700 at 50 isn't even sub MOA.

Talking about .22lr... While I don't know much on the subject it seems a .700 or better @ 50 yards is a pretty good group. I'd be happy with squirrel and bunny sniper.

I really did know so I did a little "e"search on .22lr accuracy after you mentioned ii. It seems .500 @ 50 is about as good as one should expect without some tweaking and $$$.

The designer says it's built as more of a target rifle. It is well built but also quite quirky. I wouldn't recommend anybkdy should buy one because it will most likely be a b!+@# to find parts for down the line. Right now they don't even have magazines available other than a polymer one that doesn't seem to have worked for anyone.

For $200 I'm not disappointed but I probably could've done something better with the $$$.

The wife and I were at Wally world today and somehow the conversation gravitated to guns and the Government. Being the fine upstanding law abiding citizen I am I told her I have been looking as suppressors and Could get my 10/22 threaded for a suppressor but then I really needed a 9mm can for my Beretta CX4. She said to get them and when I told here the total cost she said to just get one at a time.

Well I guess that means I CAN get one (or 2), but I just have to make myself turn loose of the bucks (I'm pretty tight in that department when it comes to buying MY toys). Ideally I would like a 10-22 TD (as Y'all have convinced me I should get).

Time to start looking and fretting and sweating.

I just ordered a light for my rifle.

http://www.leapers.com/prod_detail....;level2=&itemno=LT-EL700&status=

Now I know UTG doesn't have a reputation for quality like Surefire or Streamlight but they seem to be trying to put out products at a higher level than their airsoft stuff. Any way, I like the variable light level from 20 to 700 lumens and the package includes a mount and a tape switch for about $85. I'll post pics when I get it.

I got the streamlight after trying out an HPL. BUT I went with just the HP as it has more of a spill beam instead of a spotlight beam. I'm quite happy with it.

I was going to ask you what you ended up with. Have you tried yours indoors? I am concerned with having too much light inside a room. Would that be a problem?
