I've seen videos and shows of hunting New Zeland and MAN is it rugged! You better get into your mountain climbing exercise routine or you won't make it.

Well I thought we had a suppressor thread but if we do I couldn't find it.

Found about this today (new to me) new type suppressor from a company called OSS SUPPRESSORS. You should take a look, they ARE NOT like any "Baffels" you have ever seen.

Supressors are VERY common with the hunting folk in New Zealand, not regulated at all and are just "the done thing".

I am researching digital scales for my reloading bench at the moment. Anyone have thoughts on this ?

If you have any contacts in Law Enforcement smile you might try scales they use for weighing drugs.

The field scales are not accurate enough for reloading I don't think. I may have some experience with those wink

I have used the RCBS and the Hornady digital scales I liked them both, but I reload in bulk so I only spot weigh the batch so I use a lee beam scale and love it.

In regards to the OSS suppressor:

I don't have any experience with suppressors, BUT, one of the complaints or observations I see on You Tube vids is that screw-on suppressors have a habit of coming loose. With three screw-on pieces involved in the OSS suppressor, that's a lot of tightening.

I wonder if this OSS product has somehow addressed this problem since they will still have the heat and vibration that seems to be the major contributing factors to the problem.

One of the spokesman for OSS stated that they had over 15,000 rounds through one of the test rifles so they must have some experience with what I'm referring to. If they had resolved this problem, I would think they would be using it as a selling point.
