Black isn't anyone's color. Black is the absence of color. Now white,is a color. Matter if fact, it is the presence of ALL colors. Or at least that's what they told us in school.

I don't like black uniforms or gear...just prefer my guns to be black.

I noticed that animals tend to pick up on black and also solid color at the same depth from where they stand. But black is just a magnet they zero in on.

Black isn't that common in nature. Black is stark. Especially with animals that can't see colors.

You're both correct. I've read snipers obsessively hide anything black on their kit. If I were a hunter I'd probably want a camo gun. If I ever need to hide from 2 Leggers I'll rattle can my rifle. I'm planning to start experimenting with krylon anyway....just not sure which rifle will be first.
