Howdy guys. Looks like our desktop computer died on us, so we're looking to get a new one. I'm using a "Chrome book" right now, and it's a pia to me. I guess you need a 10 year old's hands to use it comfortably. My posting will be sporadic until we get a new desktop. Any suggestions on a new one ?

Personally Patty and I both use an iPad. She has the large pro model whereas I have the regular size one. We like them. Haven’t had a desktop machine in 7-8 years.

I use an iPad with a stand and sometimes the Apple keyboard when I have to type a lot. Works well for me. As for a regular laptop, my wife and I both use the HP brand.

I don’t like David Canterbury because he lied about his military background and was fired from that survival show. This is my real new grinder.
Costs $55,000 but uses no electricity.

Oh man, If I had the room on the counter I would for sure have me one of those! But alas, I must face reality. I’ll stick with my tried and true, much loved Hario original.

The insurance company is going to treat us right ; we just have to pay the deductible for our roof repair. We took our computer to a repair shop in town, so I am stuck with this Chrome book dealie. We still plan on getting a new desktop, either Dell or H/P most likely.

I have a MacBook Pro laptop that I use for the internet most of the time. I have a keyboard and monitor for it when I use it as a desktop so the size is normal. The rest of the time it’s my phone.

Hello Scrap Yard. We are having our old computer repaired ( hard drive shot) but we also bought a new Dell desktop. I will sure be glad to get off of this Chrome book ! By the way, Jerry posted a teaser over on Bladeforums and indicates that it was from Dan. It's labeled " Prototype " ?
