I'm glad I have a zero-turn riding mower. With my injuries, there is no way I could mow my yard and not lay in bed for a couple of days after with a push mower.

I use a 26hp Husqvarna garden/tractor . It does a good job with all the grass I have to mow.

I’ve got a 48” Gravely zero turn. My FIL has a Kubota tractor with a 60” belly mower. I use mine at his place most of the time even though I have to trailer it over, just because I feel better on hills with it. The tractor seems like it’ll turn over easily. I’ve lost a couple neighbors to tractor accidents and I’m a little spooked by getting on a side hill.

I have a couple of hills on my prairie, and I was always SUPER careful when cutting, raking, and baling hay. Safety should be your # 1 concern.

I got the back fence area by the canal cleaned up and mowed. I feel much better having that done. It can be a bear when you let it go.

Then I qualified for my National CCW. I have to go in and drop of the paperwork in the morning.

Then this weekend I'm doing an enhanced CCW class for a second permit. It doesn't cover as much, but it lasts 5 years instead of 1. I'm out of state at least twice a week with my part time gig so I'm covered if I let one lapse I'm covered.

We no longer need a permit here in Missouri, but a deputy said it's a good idea to have one if you go out of state. I need to get a permit for that reason as mine expired. They are also good for five years.

You’re right Tom. NO permit IN STATE. But if you want to carry out of state on a MO permit (where the other states have reciprocity with MO), a permit is required.

We have constitutional carry here as well. So I guess I'm covered three ways here.

I have family in Washington state or otherwise, I might not do the national card. I only plan on dipping into California for 1 thing. I want to take my wife to see the Redwoods. I don't plan on going to New York, New Jersey or Illinois anytime soon. Or ever.

Been to Kali. Nothin there for me. NY and NJ, no desire. I’ll e noise, unfortunately I do have to go through there sometimes. FORTUNATELY, for only about 1 mile. And that is one mile to long!
