Well one more day before I pay a bunch of folks thousands of dollars to break some bones and cut holes in my heart. Sometimes being a Redneck Ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Only if they don’t clean it after the last deer they poached.

Afternoon Yard!

It's going to be a bit warmer than I would like it today. I got the mowing done early. Then fired up the chainsaw and did some trimming on a big ol' cottonwood that sits at the back of my property. Unfortunately we are under a burn ban, so my brush pile is growing way too fast,

I'll have to have a bonfire after the first snow.

Skunk, how are you holding up after your procedure?

Good news ! I heard from Randy and he said that all went well and he may go home on Saturday. Other than when he coughs he said he is feeling good, happy that things went well. Lets' ALL wish him the best and a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the update.

Hopefully, he will be up and at it again soon.

Good afternoon Yard. One heck of a series of storms roared in last night, and we lost power for about six hours. Nice to have it back.

I'm glad you and the Missus made it through the storms OK.

I'm holed up in the house today, It's way too hot to be messing around outside.

Got freed from the Hosp Friday afternoon. In a nursing/rehab center in our home town 1/2 mile from our house. Very convenient. Should be here maybe 2 weeks (depending on rehab progress). It’s not home but will do for now.
