Good afternoon Yard. Anyone buying new knives lately (besides me) ?

Afternoon Yard!

No new knives lately. I have been eyeballing some of the Dawson Knives.

Did you see on the news that the government is ordering all the bases to improve their "Doomsday Plan" and be prepared for three months without additional outside help ? Everything from food, water, power, ammo, etc.

I hope folks are taking preparedness seriously ; the UK and Japan are already telling their people to have a minimum of three days supplies for whatever disaster may occur whether it is natural or man-made. I'm not trying to sound like "chicken little" but I would take this as a word to the wise.

Yeah, I saw that and the article on the UK. I hadn't seen anything about Japan prepping also. The way I'm going it may be a blessing for me. My heart failure is acting up, and I'm unemployed and uninsured. Life is getting interesting. In a Chinese kinda way, unfortunately.

I can only access the forum from one computer. None of my other devices will let me sign in, and even this one is really slow.

Good morning Ted. The forum in general has been running slowly, but at least it's still here.

Sorry to hear about the health problems, but you're not alone. I have problems with disc degeneration in my neck and back and I'm waiting for an appointment with a neurosurgeon. However, I still feel like every day you're on THIS side of the grass is a good day.
