I think the 3/16th is a perfect user but the Blade show knife is going to be a keepsake for a lot of people to help remember the show and their friends.
This will probably be my only ScrapperLE model and I want something that symbolizes everything I like about the yard. The Howler style LE is perfect and the fact that I got because one of the dogs went out of his way for me just makes it perfect. Also it is not likely but is possible all the dozens of other blades in the house disapear and all I have are my safe queens it will be the one I reach for. Unless I have to quietly take out a nazi then it's the FS Dagger.

That will be the day. Canadian Nazis! I think there were some in Chicago, according to my reliable sources, The Blues Brothers.

I think it should only be fair to point out the Yard Keeper has a full height grind! compared to the Howler's 2/3 height grind..

I don't know how many of each were made, but I've got two Howling Rats, one Saber ground and one full-height flat ground. Most of the ones I've ever seen in pics have been the Saber grind version, though.

A 1/4" thick blade makes sense on a big Bowie, but I do not see the purpose of it on small knives.

say this in our dream-knife threads and your post is just as soon forgotten as it's read. best for us to dream of choppers here and leave cutters to the spyderco/sak/mora forums. is there a mora forum? that might be fun.

Phat is the current fashion. Enjoy it for what it is. 3/16" or less will be back soon enough <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
