I'll have a table set up with goodies from all three companies at the Regional SAR Air Ops Training (
http://riverside-graphics.net/airops/index.htm) a bit north of Carson, Washington. It's this Saturday, July 21st. I'll be set up at 11 am and goodies will be available throughout the entire afternoon. Rats Hogs and Dogs are welcome.
In addition to some sweet knives, there will be some okay helicopter action. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
The training is for the SAR types only, but it is still amazing to watch, for those who like that sort of thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Here are some shots from a previous training.
Rescuers will practice tending a tag-line as the stokes litter is lowered empty to the ground and then hoisted with a simulated patient. The tag-line is there to keep the stokes litter from spinning out of control as it ascends to the aircraft.
