I was hoping the price would be more along the $100 boundary. I may sit this one out, as I am still enjoying my LE yardkeeper.

I agree. Anyone who does not have an LE yet, should jump at this one.
I also have the LE scrapper, which was the first yard purchase I made.
Now, if the LE came with a tan handle..... I'd probably buy two.

Here's one more piece of info so you don't have to go searching. Dan announced that The DMLE will cost $129.95 when it's released. Add $14.95 for shipping and the total should come to $144.90 delivered (unless you live in Texas, in which case you may have to add tax).

FYI, the Dumpster Mutt originally cost $69.95 plus $14.95 shipping for a total of $84.90 delivered. Thus the difference in cost between the original DM and the DMLE is $60.00. Interestingly, that makes the price delta between the DM and the DMLE $10.00 higher than it was between the S6 (originally $89.95) and the S6LE ($139.95). Why Dan chose to charge more for finishing a smaller blade is unknown.

However keep in mind that the original Dumpster Mutt was also a lot cheaper than it could have been, it bordered on firesale pricing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

yeah and the DMLE has alot more... improvments on it. full height flat ground and less thick. idl but wouldn't a full height grind make it a little more espensive maybe? it removes alot of metal.
