We were in the Kiddie section of the library the other day, and I noticed the unabridged audio book version of Hatchet on the shelf. I remembered reading you folks discussing Hatchet, so I borrowed it. I listened to the book while processing pictures, yesterday.

Thanks, guys! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

There are I think, 4 books in Paulson's Hatchet series They are all great!!! I've heard there's actually a movie that was made inspired by the book, but they gave it another name. I wish I could find it I'd love to watch it. I've heard some of Gary Paulson's Books are good too.

Gary Paulsen is my favorite author. I've read the majority of his books. He's very descriptive and good at painting pictures with words.

I still have Hatchet and remember seeing the movie on television. It is a good little book, and the movie wasn't too bad either. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I saw the sequel to it, Brian’s Winter at Goodwill today for under $1. If anyone wants it, I could grab it next time I’m there and ship it at cost.

Well, I’m kinda hard to get on the phone. It’s usually tied up with the computer, and my cell signal is spotty out here in farmland, so it won’t ring in the house a lot and goes right to voicemail. The best way to get a hold of me is email. My email is my screen name (all one word) @gmail.com

I happened to be back at that Goodwill Saturday, so I picked it up. It was like $.75. I can mail it in a bubble mailer to you Monday if you email me your address. When I find out the shipping based on your address, I’ll let you know the total cost. Then you can pay me by PayPal if you want to pay the fees, (PayPal Fee Calculator) or you can mail cash, check or MO if you’d rather.

If anyone else would like me to keep an eye out for either book for them, just let me know. I go to a half dozen plus Goodwills at least once a week, and I see them every now and then.
