Hey Magnum. Awesome guitars man. You have to do A SY song some time.

I can play the phonograph, the car radio and the 8 track tape player! Not too long ago I also learned how to play the CD player, but that is the total extent of my musical talent.

I'm sure you can play those better than I can play the Sax.

i don't know if i'd keep my composure if i ever met slash. my first casette tape was a gnr mix tape my big sister gave me when i was maybe...7? die hard gnr fan from then on. i always wanted to play an instrument and figured i'd never be able to play guitar so i tried other stuff i thought would be simpler, never went anywhere. one day my friend's mother sold me a suzuki for $20 and i practiced the clean riff from metallica's One. once that popped out it was eight hours a day of metallica for the next three years. i really played nothing but metallica songs and i became kirk hammett. i eventually realized and started playin other stuff. i recently sent a friend some of my own songs and got the best compliment i've ever recieved: "you've been on repeat all day."

keep an eye open for the the scrap yard medley thread.

I play the viola. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's between the violin and cello in size and range, and is played on the shoulder. I'm finishing up my bachelor's in viola performance right now (yes, I'm finishing my BM)
In feb and march I audition for grad schools in Cleveland, LA, Boca Raton, and Boston. I've been playing for about 15 years.

By the way, you think drums are expensive? Whoo! Try to find a professional quality viola and bow....but sell your house first! OUch!

My dad played piano with the Boston Symphony for a little while. Saddly his musical talent didn't wash off on me. But I listen to music real well.
