i actually think steel's more complicated. results are harder to judge and there's less room for subjectivity. also a lot less chemistry in guitars. more physics.
i like that wine red special 2 with the zebra pups. Where? I love Zebras...

another cool cheap one. the OLP music man. Kinda Tele-lookin'. I don't know OLP... I may have seen that in a MF catalog before??? You'll have to check out some of the luthiers over at MLP. Roman Rist is probably the most well known. I don't know if you know the "Max" Les Paul replicas from the 70's/80's (they fetch $30-50k+ now - Slash has a Max and a Derrig - his LP's when he made it big were Gibson clones!) - anyways, Roman was Max's apprentice and actually had a hand in building many of those $50k+ replicas.
