Gas price have been going down for 85+ days. Its back to 2003 price O>O

I filled up my Explorer for $30 - and it was on E! I'd been spending a lot of money on Gas lately - it was getting outrageously expensive.

And now, I can laugh at everyone who sold off their nice big cars and SUV's for crummy little compact Hybrids thinking they'd save a pile of money. HAHA! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

The only thing is cheap gas is not really here to stay. It ALWAYS go up before/during the summer...

I believe that this was only one of many, increasingly severe, price hikes. It is generally recognized that as a species we have already found all the easily exploited (cheap) sources of oil. From here on out it's a matter of sucking the fields dry before moving on to more difficult sources. It shouldn't be considered a "Well, glad that's over" event but rather a warning that we need to be covering our asses before the real crisis hits. We need to be retooling transportation, manufacturing and domestic applications for maximum efficiency and install renewable energy devices now, not in 20 years when it will the cost will be tripled.

i keep hearing about these massive oil reserves, but i agree for several reasons. the united states is the pioneer of the world. what we invent, the japanese refine and eventually do better. video games, cars, guitars, home stereos... eventually windows will take the back seat to some operating system that'll probably debut on playstation 8 or something.

we need something new and i don't think it'll come with a new way to propel four wheels using one or more motors that don't run on gas. still basically the same machine, in terms of the job it does, just doing it differently.

Yeah- but folks will belly up and fill er up and say " sure glad this high gas thing is over" !! They will never even think of why it went up in the first place.

Paid $1.45 yesterday, too bad I'm not going down to Southern Utah this time of year.

i love south utah some of the most beautiful land ive ever seen. gas is 2.29 here in hawaii it was 4.59 just a month ago

Unleaded is an equivalent of $7.00 here in the UK...it won't last forever and will always go up. Our price is heavily loaded with tax though.....

Dang 7bucks even in today's gas price? That is almost like stealing!
