BTW- anybody else have something weird happen when searching with google ? I have heard from three family members now that got attacked by a virus just searching. They had to shut dowm and unplug right away or it just took their whole sysytem out ? I haven't a clue what it is -anybody ???

That's really weird. I know that if you hit an infected site, you can get
hit pretty hard, but havn't heard anything from just searching.
Make sure you are running a good software firewall on your system (not the
Windows native firewall), and make sure that you have a hardware firewall
hooked up to your dsl/cable modem.
I was using Zone Alarm, but switched to Comodo. It has a built in anti-virus
package as well.

I use firefox too. Gotta love how you can make the text as big and as small as you want. Unlike internet explorer with only give you 5 sizes.

Thanks guys- I haven't had the problem but found it really strange. I use firefox anda DSL- whereas they are using explorer and cable. Maybe that is why ? Thanks will pass it on
