That was most likely me. I havea DFCG anda DMCG in that finish. It is kinda like a gray. They were only issued at Knob this year and limited I am told. Jim says they also had artic white- Bama clay and another I can't think of. Maybe he will jump in. He was " on spot" at the SY booth and snagged a bunch of them I think. I got mine over on the exchange from Paul who was at Knob. Heck- I only knew I had bought CG at the time until Jeff told me what tank was !! He made pants to match. At any rate-that is what I have been told.Pnats are AWESOME !!

Went with MC's and Tolly's suggestions and got an 860 Clipper, the S2 and the S-04. I'm trying to start saving for the next offering but these won't break my budget so it's all good!

I wonder how many colors Scrapyard's epoxy coat comes in.

well ive seen everyones steel spreads. my trouble is i want to justify a Swamp rat knife purchase but i dont know what to get....i want something new(ive got an sod and a BAD)...only thing i can think of is the RIP, but i never see those for sale...maybe a DF....what you guys think?

Buy a few moras like the big camp type and wait for Dan to release the new models. Better deal that way and you still get your " knife fix"

Get a cold steel trail hawk. I had one and it was killer! I gave it to some friends but I still miss it. The only problem is keeping the head on the handle but it's not really a problem since it forces you to get creative. They are the most fun to mod in my opinion and good steel. I beat the hell out of my Ranger RD7 so much that the edge of the knife was warped and I mean bad, like a squiggly line all along the edge. I then pounded it back to shape with the hammer end of the hawk and I could not believe the results. The RD7 is a champ in that the edge was intact! Very minor rolling so small it doesn't even count. I have continued to use it on other camping trips and keep telling myself I'm gonna send it to Justin to get it cleaned up but since it's still performing I'm slacking it. $20 Truly well spent!

word! i was thinking i also need a SOLID machete id like one similar to the golok but with a sharp point for hole making. a machete and bamboo can build wonders!!! i hope dan new knife/blade/release is something off the charts otherwise ill be houding horn dog on good machetes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
