hi guys,
this may be hard to think about with the release of the DF, but please only serious awnsers.

Has any one used a Bark river lil nessy? I want to know is the quality and performance simalar to Swamp rat. I'm sure swamp rat is tougher but bark river claims to double quench and triple heat their blades. Like Busse it is no simple cheap heat treatment. so I'm thinking it should be a tough little knife.

also, what do you think about entrek knives?

I really like all my Bark Rivers. They are the sharpest production knives I've ever had. Heck, they are sharper than any of my custom knives too. I've abused them and they have had no issues at all.

Thanks for the advice. I do have to say I own a Forager and Golok. The Forager is the best fit and finish I have ever seen on a knife. I like the sheath as well.
The Golok had imperfections in the blade and handle. I was very dissapointed. It cost a pretty penny but I didn't want to pay to ship it back when it would perform as well as another Golok that didn't have these imperfections.

Mike also has a Bark River specific forum over at Knifeforums.com.

I, too, like Barkies. They are, bar none, the sharpest knives I've ever owned!
