mike, will there be any left over to make a set of 1911 handles? It's a hair less than 1" thick and my 1911 scales are 1/4" thk each and I'd probably use 1/4" scales. With three cuts of about 1/16", it only leaves about 5/16" left before sanding. im not sure what all that other stuff means but... found this..... SPECS: Approximately .165" (4.2mm)

That's some pretty wild grain, Tolly. I've never seen/handled olive. If you can find some Olive Wood burl it's even better. Probably the prettiest wood out there. It's nice to work with too. It will make your entire shop smell like extra virgin olive oil .

That pic if the new busse looks a little weird - as if it wants to be both classic (Buck 119) and "tactical" at the same time. It has a beautiful blade grind, though.

Her grips are awesome.

Tolly - the first knife that Jerry posted a partial picture of was not appealing to me. However, the latest picture looks VERY interesting indeed!!

Well, maybe I need to look at the new picture then before I open my big mouth. I'll go see if I can find it over on BF real quick.
