I think I'd do it that way because black is more a common color than tan. The tan just looks too sweet to beat up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was thinking the other way around, since my user CT is black I was thinking about using the tan SOD... hmmm it's a tough call...

If you're keeping your knives as safe queens for your own personal collection that you plan on admiring and passing down to famiy, safe the color that you love the most. I think it's a real personal thing that your family can appreciate when something is passed down because it was special to you...that's just my take on it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
