It is basically an ear infection on the outta ear tunnel. A lot of swimmers get them that's why it is call swimmer's ear lol.

yeah, that sucks... ive had problems with a chronic ear infection for years... never seems to go away..

I'm just going to give up swimming all together. I've been getting swimmer's ear for the past 3 years and I almost always get it the same time every year... Guess what the doctor told me? "stop swimming in the bathtub"
