Think of something special to say for your 1,000th post. Is it tradition to put my 1000th post in a new thread? Usually, the 1,00oth post is in this thread, then a new thread is started, to announce JYD status, say thanks (if warranted) etc.

Eve, that is awasome. My wife is my truest friend, even though we can be at each others throat at a drop of the hat. She has been so great this week. It does make it easier to have someone special.

Hawaii is one of the few states I have not been to. I missed a great chance when a friend of mine lived there. He was pulled back early or I would have visited.

I have to admit that my downfall is fine tobacco. I am a snuffer, and will be to the day I die. I almost dropped a can for my friend today, but he already had one for his journey. A good cigar, now that sitting outside is what I love. A nice fire, a good cigar and something to drink. Oh well, I guess it is only for certain people, but it is one of the few thing I enjoy! That and fine steel!!!!!! If only I could narrow my downfall to one or two things <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Last time I visited Hawaii was December of 2000. I should go back, soon. Yeah! Get back here and take some awesome pics of our islands <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I want to. And, if I am lucky enough to have things work out with the woman I'm interested in, then she'd make a perfect companion for the trip. That would be perfect! I feel sorry for people who come to Hawaii for the first time with their kids. I think the first trip here should be only as a couple so they can truly enjoy the beauty and spirit of the islands without kids crying, screaming, etc.

My ex is still my best closest friend. In fact, I was with her yesterday, and will be with her, tomorrow.
As for this new woman, I think I've found someone really special (to me, at least), but it is too early to say much.
She certainly makes me smile.
