I already have a plan to put that monster to work. I'm going to chop up a few of frozen trees which have fallen (thankfully not on the roof!)down due to a tornado last year. It should make plenty of firewood.

It's gonna be my 'truck knife'. It'll see brush clearing during hunting season, fence clearing in summer, general hacking always

One of mine is going to be in the safe being held in reserve. The other one is going to work out on the property. Thinning brush, limbing trees, clearing trails, chopping deadwood, etc. This is what I use my Battle Rat for now and the Dog Father looks to be an even better choice.

Unsub - You are right on target! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Actually, it has been too darn cold around here to go outside for very long (I know it's nothing like what you have up there!), so I have kept it inside and have been working on a very basic sheath for it. We were about 5 degrees this morning, but by the end of the week we're SUPPOSED to reach the 50's, so I will try my DogFather on some trees down by my pond.
