i didn't want to use it, but curiosity got the best of me and i had to see how it stacked up to my other choppers.

it's okay, but i have many which are better. the ganga ram, the FBM, the rtak2, all beat it. LTC still beat all.

[censored] right. i did a chopoff thread here, you guys weren't around yet. the FBM was the best chopping bowie, the LTC best chopper of all, and the DFLE was declared all around best knife since i was getting busse pinky from the FBM and the LTC couldn't make shavings.

[censored] straight! walked a bloody mile up to the liquor barn, forgot my money, walked back home. Got my money, looked at the time, didn't want to miss Simpson's , Family Guy, or American Dad, so i hopped into the truck and drove to the liquor depot, got my icy cold beer, drove back, and here i am!

BTW, that ESTWING does NOT suck, ya just have to slap that edge on the belts and CONVEX it. CHOPPPPY CHOP CHOP!

I would REALLY REALLY like to see SY or SR do an LTC Kukri style blade. I feel the LTC is a better camp knife than a traditional kukri shape. The traditional kukri is an absolutely wicked design from a combat standpoint where you want to do a whole lot of slashing damage, but it's not optimized for serious chopping. The more rounded, wider shape of the business end of an LTC kukri puts even more mass near the tip and makes it a serious chopper despite its relatively light weight.

The only blade I know of being made in that kind of shape these days is the POS CS kukri machete for 20 bucks - give me that shape with res-c and SR-77 or differentially treated SR-101 and I will be very, very happy.

something like $10 if i recall. it's a ripoff of some famous, expensive ring fighter balisong. i have picture of the real one somewhere. probably on my old PC, which i can't get to bood anymore anyway.
