That sized knife is kind of in the twilight zone for me, not quite big enough to chop (minimum 7" for my taste to be happy with chopping) yet still kinda large for detail work. I would much rather have a 7" blade or pick up a small + large duo. i'm completely with you on that. 100%.

Well the wife said our smaller kitchen knives are dull...I can fix that and I will enjoy doing it. Another project for a busy day but this will the most fun.

I have a FFSH or the so called HOFSH a few inches longer and it becomes a FFBM <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />...

Thing is I have too many mid size knives (7 to 8inches). CT, SOD, BR, NMSFNO, HOFSH. I guess I like mid size knives the most since they are good size choppers while still somewhat ok to carry around.

I'm not even trying to do the huge weight on legs anymore. All it seems to do is hurt me. However, I do need to keep pushing the weight and reps.
