Yes and no. I've had several high end watches(Breitling, Omega, Tag) over the years and really didn't find any of them be what I was looking for and they all have been sold. They all were nice though. I'd like to find the Scrap Yard of watches if you know what I mean.
My current watch was a modded Seiko diver that had the bezel, crystal and face all reaplaced. It really was my favoite watch ever and I snagged it on eBay for a real bargain.
Tomorrow I need to go to WalMart and find something that can tide me over. I feel naked without one.
I'll recommend a good affordable one. I haven't worn a watch in years, but I recently decided to get one. The primary purpose of a watch is to tell time accurately, so I decided I wanted an atomic watch. I looked at the ones with the temp gauges, compasses, etc., but read negative things about them & their accuracy, plus they were bulky & expensive. I finally settled on a
Casio Wave Ceptor. I got it at Walmart for $30. I’ve been very happy with it. It’s accurate, affordable, not too bulky, & waterproof.
