Really, you don't think they are a good, tough, quality folder?
Just for show?
EDIT< I'm referring to Mag, about the Strider.. lol forgot to quote. never said that! they're not fantasy knives, but a folder's use becomes very limited when you give it a broad blade of thick stock. they are not practical. they're for show. anything you wanna do with that you can do better with a leek.

I think some striders are okay, but I like kershaw/zero tolerance, spyderco, and benchmade much better.

Big spyderco fan here as well. I've never gotten a knife out of the box as sharp as my old-school endura with the plastic pocket clip. That knife has been in my EDC rotation for over ten years.

mmm some dude is tempting me with a Strider SMF for my Violet Laserrrrr.
Waiting for pics. NEver had a Strider. the ultimate mall ninja knife. Man, have you handled one? I think they are great, at one point I was a Chris Reeve dealer but a SnG is what would be in my pocket if I was going to carry one of those two. If money is zero issue Strider is great IMHO. As far as the "tough"(sebenza, hinderer, Emerson, Strider) folders go it is my favorite.

Enjoy every sandwich.

Mag, I've had both and some Striders have much thicker stock than others. The liner on the Leek isn't up for the torque the SMF frame lock could take.

Mag, I had a Strider AR and it was huge and I would even call it mall ninjaish. But the SnG is a different beast all together. Also, later generation striders have much beter fit and finish.

although BM has nice knives, they are a terrible company and I don't like to support them.. Hmm, whats their problem? They fixed a knife of mine once no hassles but it did take over 6 weeks.
