guns and atms don't mix.

It is a bit better at any distance. Its cheap for practice and get some good hot loads for social work.

Wish I could hit the range more often, but it's too expensive! I only have a .380, let alone a 45. The more I think about it, the more I think I should have gotten a .22 as a first gun. Cheap to shoot!

The 9mm is a better performer. If you are looking at Kel Tecs, my pops has the single stack 9mm. IIRC, it is like P9F. The pistol is thin, pretty accurate, conceals well and is just a bit over 300 bucks around here. Might be worth looking into. I know that I would not mind having one for summer carry as it drops into the cargo pocket of my shorts really well.

i've been after this one for a almost a year. they changed it up to add the safety an a 15 round mag. i would've been fine with the old one but if i'm spending figured i'd wait. i went to bps to look at packs and they finally had it in. the guy saw me and just shrugged... i told him "let's do the paper work"...

Now certain members of this forum have tried to entice me into believing otherwise but I think a Glock 26, 19 and 17 are still very hard to beat.

The 1911 is sacred and I do think it is one of my favorites. But...you won't find a jam proof 1911 in 9mm, that you can take ALL the way apart in a few minutes and that will run very dirty for 5 bills.

I also love 45acp but it costs me about twice as much to shoot.

there was only about 5 boxes of .45 ammo at the store. 50 round cost me more than my 5.7 and thet had plenty of that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I found out after I got my 380 that ammo for it is some of the hardest to find. Fortunately, the place I got it from has an indoor range and they've had 380 ammo in stock since I got it a couple months ago. Since I'm headed back to the Bay Area (here in CA) for the summer, I stocked up 9 boxes so I'd have something to shoot. I was told by the owner of a military surplus/outdoor store that 380 is nearly impossible to find. Hopefully this ammo shortage will slow down.

Oh, I thought 9mm was almost as hard to find as 380. Is that true?

Anyone else finding themselves looking at swords tonight besides the Waki's that they have ordered, planning on ordering, or wishing they would order? I still am in the European swords but can see myself having more than one in the future.
