Gambit, A buddy that owns a gun store had got three of the SOG VietNam looking hawks in and I picked one up at cost. I am pretty impressed with it. I cant wait to try it out. Might look at one of those for the wife.

Not the fusion. It is SOGs rendition of the Laguna Viet Nam hawk.

I dunno, Striders just don't do it for me - too much of a mall ninja-ish feel to them for my taste.

Nice score, interesting locking mechanism, how do you release them?

Nice score, interesting locking mechanism, how do you release them? It's a frame lock. It works just like a liner lock except the entire frame of the knife closes under the blade. Also, the tigher you grip the knife, the more secure it is. It is my favorite lock.
Enjoy every sandwich.
