Call me a noob but what makes that shape good for fighting? Big bowies are used in the classic fencing form of knife fighting. The sharpened clip point is to catch your opponent on the back stroke, if you miss him on the down stroke.

I like Bans fighter, actually I would rather have a big fast one like that in a fight than almost anything else. I would be tempted myself if I had several DF's.
I hope the yard brings out a serious fighter like the PBF. The mojo's are good but not as fast as I would like.

It is a good shape for a certain style of fighting like the modern martial arts version of the 1800's bowie knife fighting which it's self is a version of european sabre fighting. Another knife like that is James Keating's Crossada.
and the PBF Fighter from Busse. The bottle cap opener from the Mojo is also something meant for that style of knife fighting.
A Seax is a Saxon long knife or short sword that looks much like Ban's Dogfighter.
