Well, after having had my SS4 for a little while now, it's got some use behind it. I've carried it daily since I got it, and it couldn't be more perfect. For "toughness to weight" ratio, I've never seen one better.

It's just now getting to the point that it needs sharpening, but here are some shots with the original edge.

Really I just wanted to get on here and say thanks to Scrapyard for such a great product. Can't wait for the SR77 version! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Those are good pics. It really shows how the coating wears flat before wearing through to the metal.

Looking good. I think the SS4 is really my favorite so far. And I love to work mine.

Thanks, everyone! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

LF, that is a pocket sheath that I made. Works pretty well - it's wide at the bottom to stabilize it (actually leans the knife forward, which is good), and although it's hard to tell from those pics, the wide bottom is curved to fit the leg and conceal better. Also, it's got a thumb-push to get it out cleanly.

I was going to ask about the sheath but Leatherface beat me to it.
I carry my SS4 the same way in my pocket but I have a cord tied to my belt so that when I pull the knife and sheath out my pocket the knife comes out of the sheath and dangles untill I put my knife back in it and put it in my pocket. I could use
my thumb to leave the sheath in my pocket but I would just have to take it out when I wanted to put the knife back in. The SS4 is the perfect EDC carried like that.

A couple SS4 pics for no particular reason.
