Hey, Ninja,
It is my understanding that Charter Arms, the maker of my most excellent and beloved .44 wheelgun, makes a bulldog in .22. And, they are inexpensive. Worth a look.

Also, Taurus puts out some nice .22 revolvers.

I saw that Roo, and I have put the Charter Arms on my short list due to the cost factor! It is real easy to own.

The Ruger is high because of the two 10 round magazines. Less time reloading, more fun plinking!

Need to keep the girls entertained.

I will buy in March for sure so we can squash the Winter blues with some outdoor fun. We already have a dirt target practice hill built behind the barn here. It is about fifteen feet high and about twenty-five feet wide.

Big enough not to miss when plinking at Coke cans placed in the middle!

Thanks for the heads up Joe!

Peace.

Either one would be a winner. What I dug about the charter arms, is that it looks exactly like a little .44 bulldog.
The semi-auto would probably be the more logical choice, though.

It is way cool that you have a place to shoot on your property.

The bulldog would not be that accurate though which is a concern for a fun plinking gun. Snubbies are good person protection guns not just because they are easy to carry and conceal but at close range it is very hard to grab or deflect the muzzle.

That is awesome isn't it Roo!!

The home sits on 5 acres and is surrounded by corn fields. The side yard is a great grass expanse that looks exactly like a football field. I'll post pics in Spring for sure, anyway the owner has made that perfect hill for the bullit stop and this Summer after the 22 pistol takes control of my brides non shooting heart she will give in without doubt! At home, safe, outdoors, and no kick! I'm so smart! I have a dream about her out shooting me on targets!

I already told my daughter about my plan and she is stoaked! I am still being a weenie and waiting for the right moment to tell Mom about my desire.
I know she will protest, but I also know that if it means making me happy she will allow it. I juts can't wait for the day when like Mrs. Roo she comes home with a couple boxes of ammo so we can do more shooting on the weekend.

Ahhhhh what a glorious day that would...will be!

Peace.

That is pretty cool Leatherface. KelTec have been really bringing it recently.
I love the .223 version of that bad boy. It is like the 21st century version of Steve McQueen's cut down Winchester.
