Spyderco Military. Thats as much as I will spend on a folder since I spend way too much on fixed blades.

2tonyb, it is an Andrew Demko AD10.

toast, the techno is nice. not quite CRK level, but very close. I just wish the blade wasn't so thick. Its 5mm I think, which is really thick for such a small knife.

Agreed but it's supposed to be excellent steel and the small size might be a better choice for a work (in a local HS) edc. Pricey though so hoping to get some feedback.

I have used CTS-XHP quite a bit. The first knife I had in it was the spyderco manix sprint, and I've had that for a couple years. It is an excellent steel, superior to S30V in my opinion.
The Techno is built very well. I think it's right up there with the Chris Reeve knives in fit and finsh, build quality etc. I would say if you like the thicker blade and the size of the knife, you can't go wrong. It's definitely a tough little bugger.

Took another shot at stonewashing. It works heaps better on polished blades, but this BM 707 turned out quite ok.

Assembled and sharpened, had to wait with sharpening till evening so for best light had to go with cat's sofa...

My 4th. So far I think Spydie Tenacious turned out the best. This one would be second and was much easier to sharpen than S30V.
