Hey everybody,
If you've been paying attention to the forums for a bit, you'll remember that I managed to totally chip out the thin, hollow-ground edge of my Benchmade griptilian 'Sheepsfoot' while batoning through a 1" piece of wood. Well, about 6 days ago, i sent a message to benchmade customer service, and have since waited for a response. Today, they got back to me with promising, but not conclusive, results. The message says:
"Hello,
Please send the knife on into us along with a note describing how the damages occurred, we would like to take a look at it for you and see what we can do."
So, I guess benchmade gets some brownie points for this, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I'll let you know how all this turns out.
I'm posting this so you'll have a window into what will happen if you should bust up your Benchmade knives in the future
