Hi,

I want to let you all know that the first batch of DMDC's have shipped. We have received a couple of returns because of addresses, (I have contacted by them by e-mail). I also have an order that is floating around in the postal service somewhere. I am still working with the post office on that one.

We are still working on getting the problems worked out in regards to the internet and e-mails. It looks like we may have gotten the forum situation taken care of.

Patti-

is the "first batch" the one that shipped over a month ago for the people who got in on the first offering?

or are you referring to the batch that fulfills the second round of orders?

The first batch is the one that shipped about a month ago. We are currently working on the second batch.

Heavy is confused...I ordered during the first round and paid as well. But I'm guessing that I did not make it in for the first batch that was already made when this went on sale. Yes? So even though I bought one during the first offering I am actually part of the second offering....yes? no? maybe so?

You are in the second batch. We had such a demand on the knife, that instead of turning orders away, we filled what we could, which was was outstanding, and informed customers that we could fill their orders along with the second batch if they were still interested. We have not processed credit cards and will not do so until shipment is made.

patti-

i know that you probably can't say for sure "when" but we were initially told 2 to 4 weeks. we're now approaching 2 months. i know that the dogs in the second batch (myself included) would like to know when they can expect their new knives. i know that the flu knocked you guys back a little, and i hope that everyone is feeling tip-top now.

just a guy wondering when he's getting his new scrapyard knife,

Quick question:
What is actual hardness in DMDC? 57-59HRC or 58-60 HRC ?

Aye, it'd be nice to know when / what is coming.....

At the end of this month, I get to do my annual "combat playtime" two weeks for the year - it'd be nice to have that knife with me when I'm humping a rifle all day every day.

If not, I suppose the post office will hold it until I get back.

I'm still a bit on the mend from the flu this year too. So far, 2008 has been a bad year for health. Hope you folks are doing better!
