Blade West skelly and Rainwalker sheath:






There where three request I had.

1)I wanted it to be able to accept the Tek-Klip and Tek-loc's.
2)I wanted to be able to wear it as a kneck knife both upside down and rightside up.
3)I wanted grooves on the side so that I can wrap some kind of small cord around the sheath.

As you can see, he did a great job. The square shape also makes it suited for pocket carry

What a snazzy sheath that Active Duty is! I know it has a Rainy clip on the back for pocket,small of the back,belt,boot and a myriad of other places!

I love it! It screams out I have a quality knife inside and I DO care how I display it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

That Skelly has me literally drooling in my mouth. I want one by Dan and Patti so bad it hurts! And then a three incher for daily chores.

Again Jim great choice on the sheath. Very nice.

actually i skipped the clip on the back of the AD sheath. it has a very low profile two way leather pass through. i'll try to post pics soon.

whats a wave? like what they were talking about on page 5?

On Ernie Emerson's line of folders, he machined in a hook on the top of the blade like you see on the Scrap Yard "Yard Hook" knife. Emerson called this feature the "Wave." Its purpose is to catch on one's pants pocket when withdrawing the knife. Doing so, opens the knife on the draw and is said to be very fast.
