Looks like another DF problem.

Lots of misinformation in the early posts.

I beat my DF on frozen oak to make sure I didnt have this problem.

All the owner needs to do is contact SY knives. Their warranty is good.

Morals of the story...

1/ use them at home to test them before field use
2/ buy from the factory so IF the claim resolution is a refund not a replacement you aren't out of pocket!!

It can happen. A solid warranty solves the problem.
The busse warranty is the same even if you customized your knife !

Never heard of any warranty like that. But ofcourse, bussekin knives is the best <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
