Well, it's four and a half hours into summer, and the longest day of the year. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we've had a lousy spring, but today wasn't half bad. Here I sit in the backyard at 9:30PM sipping a gin with all the vegetables (olives, onions, & pickled asparagus) with plenty of light to spare. I toast those dogs who are at even more extreme latitudes - this is the time of year that makes it all worth while!

lol Vic! I get the high and side stuff (mainly blackberry vines and ouch they hurt!), the mower gets the ground/grass!
