Usually by this time of year, the high country is open. I should be hiking to the high lakes for lots of fine fishing by now. The slideshow linked below gives you some idea of how much snow we still have. All the pictures were taken between 2700 and 3000 feet elevation over the past two weekends. Caught a couple nice fish in the lake, but the water was still really cold (not fully ice free) and the fish weren't really active yet. Anyway, got in some good machete work on the trails and played around with the YKCG. Enjoy...

I'd love to see the pictures but can't get into the photobucket pictures. It requires a password.

Weird how there's still snow. Well I hope this upcoming winter brings a lot of snow, I really miss snowboarding.

Utah also got alot of snow this year, still hear there's alot above 9,000.
