Yep; it's not a swing at you, I think it's just a note because (while you've reached JYD status very quickly) it's one of those rules that you may not have noted since you haven't been here too long.
On a related note, I saw that sale post independently and hoovered the SS4. I passed on last night's ganza and backed out of an INFIcoot sale yesterday, but between the SS4 and another purchase yesterday morning, I need to cool my jets for a while. I didn't really want to back out on that 'coot, but I already have three; the decision came down to an INFIcoot in one hand, or a ETS SJTAC in the other for about $50 more -- both were unused, I wasn't going to buy both, so which to keep. I chose the SJTAC. However, I only had one SS4 and had promised myself another when I found a good deal; that one was a good deal.

Since the knife is a Scrapper and on the Busse Sale exchange, I don't see a problem with letting fellow dogs know about it any more than when we post about a Swamp Rat or Busse that is available at their stores. If the S6 was currently available in the store and some one was under selling the store there might be some grounds for discouraging the post. Like that would ever happen. Just my two cents. I guess in the strictest interpretation it might be considered a violation. Probably a PM to the dog who was looking for a Scrapper 6 might be more appropriate. People often have let us know that they were having a hard time finding a SY model and we tell them to check the exchange.

I agree, Vic. I gave Shaolin a heads-up because I didn't want him to get thrown in the Dog House like I did. I spotted a SHSJ on eBay a few months ago and reported it here. Chris (ColdOne) said that was a no-no and locked the thread. So it's a little hard to tell what's acceptable and what's not. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Anyway, I'm sure the mods have walked the Yard today and apparently nothing's been said.
