Of course posting here was first. When releases come without more than a 72 hour window in most cases you kind of have to keep one ear to The Yard to make sure you get in on the release.They are always limited production runs and when you do snag one here it will save you about 30%-100% in savings verses buying it on the secondary market. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
Scrap Yard blades have a way of jumping in price after a release has been shipped. Those who miss out are sometimes willing to pay almost double for the chance to get their much coveted blade steel from Scrap Yard. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Pull up a chair Athos you just missed three releases in a row that is the first time in three years that has happened. Welcome to the yard, Athos. I posted here first, trying to buy a Dog Father. Unfortunately, I just missed the last of them in the store, so I got one elsewhere. Seems like I waited forever for the DFLE, but it was worth the wait. It is my favorite chopper bowie by far.

I lurked for a few months until I got my first SY, the S6 and did not post.
I wish I had posted sooner because they're were so many great people
here and I learned how to acquire one thanks to them!
but I didn't feel it was right until I had a blade, silly me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I can't remember which blade I got the first, SS4 or DM CG ?

I tried to buy....could'nt work it out...came on the forum to do so. I came a few months ago....prior to the releases....but the ones I like have not been re-released so I got the ones I wanted on the exchange.

I remember you raving/loving the DM pitman! that would be my guess.
didn't you get the SS4 later from the secondary market or a fellow dawg?
