Hey Jeff- How about that mean looking pup on my avatar ? Can you put it on some pants ? I bet it would be downright scary ( lol) I betcha Dan would want it for his new logo - but it is mine.

i as well ordered a sheath from jeff. its sort of based off of the DF design, but has a hook and loop and clip ability (since i dont always wear a belt). black sod on black leather...too bad i wont be able to wear it around town!

my main goal in a sheath is to have it be able to be put anywhere. the only thing i think i might add (which this thread made me think of) would be some sort of grommets or eyelets to lash some paracord through so i can attach the knife/sheath to my leg. it could be grommets or thick leather strap sewn on each side. or maybe im asking for too much...my 2 cents

I really like the leather pouch style, either squared off or folded over. For now, I got Renee to add a 10" sheath from the site to my order just to have something to cover the edge until I decide what I actually want. It will be big, but should function, I think I can also use it for something else too.

Jeff, I'm at least one of those who asked for dog paw prints on my leather, for my Mud Puppy or Yard Keeper, and I am looking forward to it working its way up your priority list!!!

You'll be happy to know that it just made it's way onto my front burner line, so it won't be long now.

When you have a kidex sheath how secure is the knife in the sheath?

It depends on how it's made, but in general a kydex should hold the knife securely while allowing easy access and deployment of the knife when necessary.

Horn Dog - are you making sheaths now? Can you take orders for making them for the new all black SODs?? I want one but one that wont stain the blade or RES C handle like the one from Amorall leather
