Has anyone tried their new SOD in the Rainwalker Yard Hook kydex sheath? Just wondering if it'll fit.

To be honest I haven't tried mine... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> I think PoP said his fit. Although I think the SOD does have a slightly longer blade that may or may not be an issue. I think I did try it in an extra Yard Guard sheath that I had and I wasn't happy with the fit... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'll check tonight, if I remember... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I hope that helps. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Come to think of it the recurve on the Hook and Guard makes the width different too.

Well I remembered... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

To answer your question, it is possible to kinda fit the SOD in a Hook sheath, however I'm kinda picky, so I'm not satisfied with the fit. But it would probably work in a pinch with some kydex.

Now on another note the SOD fits quite well in a Dog Father sheath. Mine is actually in a cut down cosmetic reject DF kydex sheath. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
